The new MultiServo from AMK is designed with incoming supply and two or four inverters integrated in one, compact housing. With a width of 130 mm. for the four-axis module, there is as much as 60 percent space saving compared to other devices on the market. The internally cabled cross-connections yield additional savings in cabling effort and expense. The inner properties of the MultiServo have 4 kVA per axis with double the overload capacity and an EtherCAT and a multifunctional encoder interface. The latter also enables encoderless operation of asynchronous and synchronous motors.
The use of air and liquid cooling and diverse communication interfaces allow flexible use, which is rounded out by an application-optimized software and closed-loop control. For very precise and fast positioning operations, the MultiServo is equipped with vibration damping. STO is also integrated as a standard feature. Its overload capacity and optimized dynamics make the MultiServo ideally suited for broad use, e.g., in robotics and handling systems, packaging machines, and machining centers. Thanks to the easy integration, the MultiServo is not just ideal for stand-alone machines but also for plant construction.
